Smile

Smile
As the wool was pulled over
Never felt any better
If she pleased, would have let her bring me into the raging wild
Was it all for a reason?
What a pitiful question
Haven't yet learned the lesson of a runaway child's trial

And I can wait for the night to end
And I got plenty of time to spend
And I won't beg for a hand to lend holding
Because I wouldn't expect a friend to know
The only way out of a rabbit hole
Is to follow the sun in its unfolding

Had another direction
Not a mere inclination
Chasing after reflections that appear on my bedroom floor
Got a novel new pastime
Even better than last time
Looking out for a fun time like the one time I had before

Taking hard the actual
Learning hard the tactical
Path of the impractical masses
Because words are forgotten in a little while
The pain of a runaway child's trial
Would not be taught in their favourite classes
And I can wait for the night to end
And I got plenty of time to spend
And I won't beg for a hand to lend holding
Because I wouldn't expect a friend to know
The only way out of a rabbit hole
Is to follow the sun in its unfolding
