Flounder

Flounder
She puts me in a
Winning condition
Taking on all the colours
Others ignore
Without direction
Far less confusion
Don't have to switch positions
Holding the high ground
Nothing for miles around

Everything I could ever sightsee
Up and down the slow thoroughfare
Giving as much as there might be
From what I don't have to spare
I might make a bad turn
Never too late to learn
Wait 'til I'm looking back one day
Laugh at the gracelessness
Don't have to make a case of it

Can't draw much from a surface appearance
Not enough for a certain conclusion
Up against this stubborn tranquility
Utter futility

Cannot oppress me
With these amenities
Stay free of frivolity
See through the idolatry
Hurtling onward
Into the heavens
Said that she'd meet me there later
In my heart I remain there
Lets me lighten my labour

She's coming to take me
To my splendour, flounder no more
Traveling up the hill
On legs strong as pillars
Puts on a good show
Seems so knowledgable
I think it is better than likely
She's the person who might be
Just the one to ignite me

In the end game always the same
Descend to a war of attrition
Truth is the first fatality
Then goes eventuality
Pays to prevent abnormal affairs
From absorbing too much attention
Make it next to incredible
To remain on the level
