Decent

Decent
Emptied out, sometimes for too long
It's a good thing, dropping everything
Foolish pride not worth holding on
I can buy my ticket once I'm pushed to my limit

One way journey to the end of the line
Leave the weight of indecision behind
Give the credit to the strength of my will
Watching over me from high on a hill

Hanging on, sometime for a laugh
Is enticement, puts some spice in it
But when the lines confining me are drawn
It won't be long until my patience is gone

One more minute till it turns into crime
Want to make it up to Heaven in time
Resting easy so they won't know I tried
Not too happy so they stay pacified
One way journey to the end of the line
Leave the weight of indecision behind
Give the credit to the strength of my will
Watching over me from high on a hill

What to try, all has been applied
No use fighting this enlightening
Don't know why taken for a ride
Wake up later in a stuck elevator

One more minute till it turns into crime
Want to make it up to Heaven in time
Resting easy so they won't know I tried
Not too happy so they stay pacified
One way journey to the end of the line
Leave the weight of indecision behind
Give the credit to the strength of my will
Watching over me from high on a hill
